Netflix now is making movies and shows available for the times when internet is not an option.

Those catching a flight, vacationing in a remote area or in any other situation without an internet connection can now download Netflix content in advance, the company announced Wednesday morning. 

The new feature is available for Apple and Android phones and tablets, according a company news release. Those wishing to use the latest feature must download the most recent version of the Netflix iOS or Netflix Android app. Click here for more details. 

Not all content will be immediately available for downloading, though Netflix announced more shows and movies will be available in the future. 

The company did say Netflix original shows "Orange is the New Black," "Narcos" and "The Crown" are available to start downloading. 

“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their "Stranger Things" binge while on airplanes and other places where internet is expensive or limited,” Eddy Wu, Netflix’s director of product innovation, wrote in a blog post on Wednesday.
