A restaurant that denied service to a woman pregnant with twins because her shirt was too short has apologized.

According to KIRO-TV in Seattle, Charisha Gobin — who is currently seven-and-a-half months pregnant with twins — visited in Buzz Inn Steakhouse in Marysville, Washington. She was wearing a crop top black shirt what exposed her baby bump and a long skirt.

Gobin claims she was approached by a waitress who told her she couldn't be in the restaurant because her shirt violated health codes. Gobin decided to leave the restaurant.

The server told KIRO that the restaurant has a no shirt, no shoes, no service policy and that Gobin's crop top wasn't long enough to be considered a shirt.

Buzz Inn Washington released the following statement on Twitter:

“Statement: We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and will cover with all staff as to how to not overly enforce a rule that is intended to make all guests feel comfortable. Our apologies for the misunderstanding. The server in question has been with our company and a great employee for almost 20 years and was trying to use her best judgement (sic) and by no means was trying to be demeaning to the guest again our sincere apology for misunderstanding.”
