NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson announced on Instagram early Wednesday morning that he and his wife Ciara are expecting their first child as a couple. Ciara also posted a similar birth announcement.
"The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay,” he wrote.
"On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family, and I'm excited to finally share one of the greatest gifts of all that God could give," Ciara wrote.
Wilson and Ciara have been together for nearly two years, and got married in July.
Wilson stated that he and Ciara had a "no sex policy" until after their marriage, and that they wanted to do things "Jesus' way."
Ciara has from a previous relationship. Ciara and rapper Future were engaged, but called off the wedding.
