In an effort to help struggling food banks across the country, Subway announced Friday it would be making donations to Feeding America with every footlong purchased by customers.
Subway announced that from Friday through April 30, it would make a donation to Feeding America for every footlong sold at its restaurants.
According to Subway, "$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks."
Subway says it will donate up to $1.5 million or up to as many as 15,000,000 meals.
Subway is currently open for online and takeout orders as well as delivery.
