Texas country music artist Kylie Rae Harris dies in car crash

TAOS COUNTY, N.M. — Texas country music artist Kylie Rae Harris, 30, died in a car crash on Wednesday night.

According to Billboard , Harris' publicist said they were heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night.

Two people died in the three-vehicle crash in northern New Mexico Wednesday night, according to the Associated Press. The Taos County Sheriff's Office said a 16-year-old girl was also killed in the crash and that the third driver escaped injury.

Kylie's last tweet said, "Fuel range is 46 miles and I’m 36 from the nearest gas station. Dear baby Jesus please don’t let me get stranded in NM"— Kylie Rae Harris (@KylieRH) September 4, 2019.

Kylie Rae Harris leaves behind a young daughter, Corbie.

She grew up in a small town, Wylie, Texas, near Dallas. She has released two albums and most recently, her self-titled EP in March.
