A viral video shows a Texas school police officer body slamming a 12-year old girl. 

Now the school district is looking into the matter, which took place at Rhodes Middle School on March 29. 

The San Antonio Independent School District is investigating, district spokesperson Leslie Price told San Antonio-based WOAI. 

The officer was put on paid leave Wednesday morning, WOAI reported. The incident happened in anticipation of a fight, WOAI reported.
