New Mexico, CA. - Starting today The Navajo Nation will begin their 'stay at home lock down" for the entire reservation due to rising COVID-19 cases. Another lock down went into effect Friday night, that lasted for 56 hours.
The Navajo Nation covers parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
New Mexico's "shelter in place" also goes into effect today, that will last for two weeks. Residents are allowed to leave their home for essential trips only, and many non-essential businesses will be forced to shut down starting today.
Public health officials also announced they'll be putting a pause on Thanksgiving.
