Just when you think the world is a hopeless place, the friendship between two five-year-old boys is warming hearts everywhere.

Mom Lydia Stith Rosebush of Louisville, Ky. recognized a memorable moment when her son Jax told her he wanted to cut his hair so that no one would be able to tell him and his friend Reddy apart. She posted a photo of the pair on Facebook on Feb. 24, showing a picture from a Christmas party.

By March 2, the post had garnered more than 6,300 comments; 110,000 reactions; and 62,000 shares. You can see why!
