ATLANTA, Georgia — Visitors to the King Center in Atlanta can download an app that will allow them to march for social justice

Kicking off as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, visitors can experience an interactive march for humanity.

They will walk on a special energy producing sidewalk that provides a digital platform for change.

Every footstep will be counted through an interactive monitor and a unique smartphone app developed by tribal planet.

The idea is to go beyond the passive social media experience of a simple like.

The King Center says the march for humanity experience will give individuals a digital platform to take action in the real world.

They hope to demonstrate that every footstep counts in the march for humanity - just as every human being counts.

Beyond the King Center, organizers hope to add more global locations for the march for humanity in 2020.
