A Long Island woman is accused of leaving her 6-year-old daughter waiting in a taxi as she robbed a bank last Saturday, the Suffolk County Police said in a statement.
Diana Marini, 28, of Brentwood, New York has been charged in connection to Saturday's robbery.
According to police, the robbery took place Saturday afternoon at a Chase Bank. Marini is accused of handing the teller a note. After the teller handed over and undisclosed amount of money, Marini was said to have gotten away in a taxi.
A police officer then tracked down the taxi, the suspect and the suspect’s 6-year-old daughter. Marini's daughter was given to family following Saturday's incident.
