Posted

Carlos Carrasco was at the center of a PSA during Tuesday night's All-Star Game.

After the fifth inning, the crowd held up signs with the names of people they were standing up to cancer for, with the song 'This is Me' playing from 'The Greatest Showman'.

At the end of the video, Indians Francisco Lindor, Brad Hand, Carlos Santana, Shane Bieber and Terry Francona were standing on the field with Carrasco with their signs supporting him.

Carrasco was given a standing ovation when he appeared on the scoreboard.

He revealed on Saturday that he was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia.

The MLB previously announced that they were going to recognize him "appropriately" during the game.

It was an amazing moment for both Carrasco and the fans that are #CookieStrong.
