3.7 magnitude earthquake hits near Barstow Thursday morning

BARSTOW, Calif. — According to the United State Geological Survey a 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit Barstow this morning. It reportedly happened around 4 a.m. this morning.

At this time no injuries or damages have been reported.

The location of this latest earthquake is about 80 miles from where thousands of tremors have been felt near Ridgecest over the last week.

People in Trona did report feeling the quake. It's still not clear though if this is considered an aftershock of the quake.
