A hay spill on Northbound Interstate 5 near Castaic has shut down three lanes of traffic Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, just after 3 a.m., a big rig lost its load of hay on the I-5. The CHP reports that another big rig ran into the hay.
NORTHBOUND I-5 FULL CLOSURE: The CHP reports a semi truck crashed this morning about 3 a.m., spilling its load of hay on northbound I-5 near the 138. Officers report then another semi crashed into the wreckage. The Fire Dept also reports a spill of corrosive materials on the road pic.twitter.com/VvoUyNnMn6

The incident has led to the closure of three lanes of traffic.
It's not known when roads will be cleared.
