4.4 magnitude quake rocks Northern California

FERNWOOD, Calif. — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake rocked Northern California on Wednesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck Humboldt County at 10:23 a.m.

The epicenter was reported about 1.7 miles south southeast from Fernwood.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
