MERCED COUNTY — A Cal Fire captain was killed in a crash in Merced County.
Fire Captain Stacy Hamilton was killed in a vehicle crash in Merced County, according to Cal Fire.

Captain Hamilton was assigned to the Columbia Air Attack Base and was an Air Tactical Group Supervisor. He is described as "a great friend, mentor, and person."
