COMMERCE, Calif. (KERO) — California healthcare workers gathered together to remember their colleagues who died during the pandemic surges.

Members of the United Healthcare Workers Union in Commerce, California created displays of their loved ones and read the names of 60 healthcare professionals who died since COVID began.

According to the World Health Organization, over 180,000 healthcare workers across the world have died as a result of the virus.
