Californians to vote on sports gambling in 2022

Currently, sports gambling is legal in 26 states

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KERO) — Californians will head to the voting booth next year and decide whether or not to allow sports gambling within the state.

The measure will only allow gambling at Indian casinos and horse tracks. It would not allow gambling online.

The measure would also prohibit wagering on high school athletics and any sporting event that a California college team participates in.
