FULLERTON, Calif. — Fullerton police say an infant died after being left in a hot car Wednesday afternoon.

The car was parked outside in the driveway of the family's home. Investigators say early indications point toward the tragedy being an accident.

Fullerton police say the family is cooperating with their investigation. The young child was pronounced dead at the scene.
