The California Highway Patrol is in the midst of pursuing a black sedan within the San Fernando Valley Tuesday, according to reports from KTLA.

According to those reports, the chase almost came to an end in the area of Chatsworth around 1:15 p.m. after leading CHP officers on a chase along the 118 Freeway.

The driver was originally wanted for speeding, according to KTLA. When CHP officers attempted to pull the driver over, he fled and the chase ensued.
