BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization is working to ensure that all California residents are aware of the time of use electric changes coming in 2019 and 2020.

According to the Organization, utilities will be shifting to those time of use rates. To balance consumption, residents will be asked to conserve energy from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning in 2019.

Rates will be increased from those times as well.

The organization will also be holding energy assemblies at valley schools so students can make energy behavior changes.
