Bakersfield, CA. - According to a social media post earlier Sunday night, Governor Gavin Newsom and his entire family are under quarantine after his children were exposed to COVID-19.

Newsom announced that they learned on Friday that one of his kids had been exposed after coming into contact with a California Highway Patrol officer who'd tested positive for the coronavirus.

The governor says that he and his family have recently tested negative for the virus, and are following quarantine guidelines. They'll be self-isolating for 14 days.
