Hearst Castle, a historic destination in San Simeon, will be offering special seasonal tours on weekends during April and May. The tours begin in the evening and guests will be able to enjoy the sunset from the top of the hill then step inside the castle as history is brought to life. Volunteers dressed as William Hearst's guests lounge around the castle, acting as guests would have during the 1920s and 1930s.

Tickets are available here. The tour includes about 160 stair steps. The evening tours are every Friday and Saturday through May 18 with additional tours offered during the week of April 14.

Hearst Castle was one of the homes of William Randolph Hearst, a newspaper man from the 20th century. It was known as a popular gathering place for important people during the 1920s and 1930s and is now open for a variety of tours.
