SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — — Mayor London Breed said over 97% of city employees are vaccinated as a Nov. 1 deadline to meet the mandate approaches.

A total of 195 police officers, bus drivers, firefighters and sheriff deputies who won’t get their shots by Monday will lose their jobs, and other civil servants who won’t comply will be placed on paid administrative leave.
