Officials are now saying the Mineral Fire is 47 percent contained and has burned more than 26,000 acres so far.

According to Cal Fire the inferno has destroyed four structures, damaged three, and is still threatening 60 others.

The smoke from the blaze is still affecting the air quality throughout the state.

The cause of the fire has not been confirmed. But officials do say that they expect full containment by Thursday.
