Officials say the Mineral Fire has burned up to 29,667 acres and is 85% contained.

The fire started on July 13th and is burning along Mineral Spring Road and Highway 198, which is west of the City of Coalinga. According to CalFire, seven structures have been destroyed and none are currently being threatened.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it is expected to be contained by Tuesday.
