Californians can expect to pay more at the pump beginning today thanks to yet another tax increase.

Starting today, you'll be paying an extra 3 cents per gallon when you gas up.

The tax is part of SB1, which was passed in 2017 and led to gas tax increases of 12 cents per gallon in 2017 and 5 cents in 2019.

In all, when gassing up, you'll now be paying 50 cents in taxes per gallon.
