CORONA, Calif. — An off-duty officer will not face any charges for a deadly shooting at a Southern California Costco. Riverside County District Attorney says he will not file criminal charges against Salvador Sanchez.

Sanchez shot and killed Kenneth French inside of a store in Corona last June.

Officials say they believe French assaulted Aanchez, but the DA notes surveillance video from the scene is difficult to distinguish.

French's parents were also injured in the shooting.

A grand jury had already decided that charges were not warranted in the case.
