Authorities are worried that more people in Los Angelos could find themselves homeless due to the coronavirus.

The number of homeless people in Los Angeles County jumped 13% this past year.

The homelessness count in L.A. was conducted in January months before the coronavirus shut down businesses throughout the state.

Authorities are now worried that after eviction protections throughout the state expire that more could find themselves without homes due to unemployment.
