HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A police chase of a carjacking suspect in Hollywood ended with a multi-vehicle crash. Los Angeles police say the car had been stolen at gunpoint earlier in the day.

Officers tried a pit maneuver but it didn't work. The suspect drove through a red light and collided into two other cars at an intersection.

After the collision, a woman could be seen grabbing her kids and running away.

Police pulled out their weapons and took the suspect into custody without incident.
