SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KERO) — A contracted civilian plane landed on a beach retaining wall after sliding off the end of a runway at the Naval Air Station in San Diego.
According to the base's public affairs officer two people were on board, but were not seriously injured. They were however, taken to a local hospital for precaution.
The FAA and the national transportation safety board are set to investigate the cause of the crash.
