PAMONA, Calif. — A 22-year-old man is behind bars for allegedly making false threats to the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona. According to Pomona police, 22-year-old Erik Villasenor of Sylmar sent a threatening e-mail to the organizers of the fair.
Pomona Police Chief Mike Olivieri said investigators uncovered the reason Villasenor sent the threatening e-mail was because he did not want to attend the fair with his parents. Police arrested the 22-year-old at his home in Sylmar where he admitted to the hoax.
Villasenor was arrested for making false threats and booked into the Pomona city jail.
