The Los Angeles County Fire Department is battling a brush fire near the city of Calabasas at Las Virgenes and the 101 Freeway.
The fire has currently consumed 10 acres and structures are threatened. There are no evacuations being ordered at this time, but there is a potential for future evacuations.

The California Highway Patrol is warning drivers to avoid the area and that the potential for closing the 101 could happen soon.
