It didn't take long for Taco Bell to have to pony up on its promise of free tacos for the everyone in the United States thanks to one moment in Game 1 of the World Series.

In the first inning in the game between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs, the Indians' rising star, Francisco Lindor, stole second base. That was enough to trigger Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion.

Now, everyone across the nation can head to Taco Bell on Nov. 2 between 2-6 p.m. to get a free Doritos Locos taco.
