BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Honor Flight Kern County has been grounded by the pandemic. The popular non-profit isn't shuttling veterans back and forth to Washington, DC, but they're still 'soaring' through local donations. Radio talk show host Ralph Bailey has raised more than $100,000 in three years, or more precisely, in nine hours. He's hosted a fund raising drive during his 3-hour show since 2018 and his listeners and friends have responded in a big way. Bailey dropped in on the 11am show LIVE to talk about the support local veterans get in Kern County, even during the coronavirus pandemic.
