TMZ is reporting that Motley Crue singer Vince Neil and actor Nicolas Cage got into a fight at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday.

TMZ says they were told that the fight happened around 5 p.m. outside of the Aria hotel-casino.

The confrontation happened after Neil allegedly attacked a woman who asked Cage for an autograph. Las Vegas police say that Neil grabbed the woman by her hair.

Cage then attempted to calm Neil down and force him to leave the property. However, Neil was initially reluctant and the two briefly grappled.

Las Vegas police say that Neil was cited for battery against the woman. He was not taken to jail.

Both Cage and Neil are residents of Las Vegas and are frequently seen around town.
