BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A longtime dining option in Downtown Bakersfield is opening its doors again for patio dining with a little something extra.
The 24th Street Cafe re-opened Wednesday morning with a slightly different look: a newly expanded patio area has been added to accommodate more outdoor dining.
The iconic diner in the downtown area closed on March 15th then reopened for a few weeks in July. But since then the crew has been quarantining at home except for the three days it took to build the patio.
An addition that might become permanent.
