The Kern County Museum to reopen Wednesday under phase two guidelines

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Museum announced it will reopening Wednesday under the guidelines of phase two in Gov. Gavin Newsom's plan to reopen the state.

According to museum's Facebook page, outdoor exhibits will reopen Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admissions costs $5 and masks are required.

Indoor exhibits such as the Lori Brock Discovery Center, Howell House, Ray A. Watson Transportation Exhibit, Black Gold Oil Exhibit and Chamber of Commerce Building will be closed.
