Sam Cohen is a national digital producer at the E.W. Scripps company. She covers the news of the day, national headlines, breaking news, politics, sports and the occasional cute animal.

She joined the national team in 2020 after working for several media companies in a variety of roles, including Rocky Mountain Public Media, ABC10, FOX40, and KUTV. She has written the evening newscast, produced emotional stories, launched websites, cultivated social media followings, and led content teams.

She grew up on the north side of Denver, left to attend Northwestern University in Chicago and pursue her career in journalism, and is happy to be back in Colorado with her family.
