LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. — Kern County Search and Rescue is looking for a missing man who reportedly jumped off a boat in Lake Isabella Sunday afternoon.

According to KCSO, deputies learned that a 36-year-old Los Angeles man was reported missing near Highway 155 and Dutch Flat Road just shortly after 4:30 p.m. Officials said the man jumped to "swim to shore" and did not resurface at the French Gulf Marina at Lake Isabella.

No word yet if there were any other occupants in the boat or what led to the man jumping off the boat.
