BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield College basketball men's basketball team are now 5-0 on the 2019 campaign.

After their win against the Napa Valley Storm on Saturday afternoon, the 'Gades find themselves in their best position in years. Last year, they started 0-4 and head coach Rich Hughes certainly prefers this.

"We rebounded and played very well towards the end of the season so hopefully we can stay at this pace," he said. "Our guys are playing extremely hard and if we can play hard every night we have a chance."

The team is back on the court this Wednesday when they take on West Hills Coalinga.
