BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Christian Eagles football team is headed back to the CIF State Playoffs. With their win over Central Valley Christian in the Central Section Division III title game on Friday, they booked their spot.
They'll take on Sunny Hills High School on Saurday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. in the 3-A state semifinals at Bakersfield Christian High School.
The last time the school appeared in the state playoffs was when this senior group, headlined by Stanford commit Ben Yurosek, were freshmen.
