BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The first ever Cal State Bakersfield women's basketball game took place on November 17, 2000. So, it was fitting that on the exact same date 19 years later, the 'Runners celebrated their 20th season in Bakersfield.

The women took on Fresno Pacific and cruised past them by a final score of 94 to 65. The 'Runners shot 55 percent and 85 percent from the line with Jayden Eggleston leading the team with 16 points.
