BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Christian boys basketball team and East High girls team are scheduled to play in the CIF State Basketball Championships this weekend. Those games may be put on hold.

The CIF tweeted on Wednesday night that their executive officers will meet to discuss the status of the games being played. The Eagles are scheduled to play Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Division 4 State Final, and the Blades are slated for Friday at 10 a.m. in Division 5.
