The CSUB women's basketball team will not host U.C. Santa Barbara tonight according to an announcement posted by CSUB.

The announcement continues to say that the Roadrunner Women's team will pause all basketball operations as a result of "university and department wide health and safety protocols."

Tonight's game was the last game of the regular season and no other games will be affected by the pause.

The women's basketball is currently scheduled to play in the Air Force Reserve Big West Basketball Championship on March 9-13 in Las Vegas.

CSUB's Athletic Department did not comment on whether tonight's cancellation is related to Covid-19 cases on the team.
