BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Ten local volleyball teams competed in the second round of the CIF Central Section Playoffs on Tuesday night and only five teams would advance to the semifinals.

Division One:

No. 2 Liberty defeated No. 7 Exeter 3-0 to advance to play Arroyo Grande

Division Two:

No. 3 Stockdale defeated No. 6 San Luis Obispo 3-2 to advance to play No. 2 Central Valley Christian

No. 4 Bakersfield Christian beat No. 5 Frontier 3-2 to advance to play No. 1 Redwood

Division Three:

No. 3 Mira Monte swept No. 6 Porterville 3-0 to advance to play No. 2 Kingsburg

Division Four:

No. 2 Frazier Mountain defeated No. 7 Hanford to advance to play No. 3 Kerman

All of the semifinal games will take place on Thursday at 7 p.m.
