BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In this week's Fandomodium, we went to Garces Memorial High School to check out their school mascot.

Garces has a long history of keeping a "live" ram as their mascot. Sam the Ram, the current mascot, comes from a long lineage of rams to serve the position.

Sam leads the Herd, the school's student section, out to the stands before home football games.

He is quite popular amongst students, fans, and all those in attendance during games and around campus.
