"Indy, Oh Indy: Wanderin' the Streets of Bakersfield" is a book that portrays the fictional adventures of a real-life terridoodle named Indy as she wanders the streets of Bakersfield in search for a Forever Family.

The book is a joint effort by two Bakersfield residents, author Teresa Adamo and illustrator Jennifer Williams-Cordova.

The two celebrated the release of the book with family and friends at Cafe Smitten tonight. A portion of the books proceeds will be donated to the animal shelter as well as the Bakersfield SPCA.
