In this episode, Barnes talks about the importance of playing a top-ranked program like No. 20 TCU early in the season and what the team can take away from that competition win or loss. He also previews his matchup on the road to open the season against the Horned Frogs.

He also describes his personal learning lessons at the helm of the program for eight seasons and what he wants to see his team accomplish during this season. 

Also, Kari puts coach in the hot seat with five rapid questions at the end during the 'Breakdown with Barnes'.
