BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Big names in the sports world were honored today for the 53rd Annual Bob Elias Kern County Sports Hall of Fame Tuesday evening.

The four inductees that were honored this evening were Olympic god-medalist Jake Varner, Taft graduate Dennis Watkins, lifelong horseman Donald Horseman Donald Valpredo and Garces Alum John Stenderup.

Those four inductees will be added to the Bob Elias Hall of Fame with the 217 fellow inductees.
