BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The 25-1 Bakersfield College Renegades are gearing up for the CCCAA State Championship Quarterfinals. They'll face the Fresno City College Rams on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Solano College.

The team is currently riding a 19-game win streak with the their only loss taking place back in September. And, the Gades are keeping their focus on what's ahead as they strive to reach the championship game this weekend.

"In order to keep the streak going we just need to keep pushing forward and keep looking to the future and not focus so much on what we've already accomplished, but on what we can accomplish," outside hitter Lanie Camarillo said.

If they win Friday, they would advance to a semifinal on Saturday and the championship game on Sunday.
